Great 3 days in Barcelona, with a bus ride to The Gaudi Garden. That was 10 years ago ….. must go back.
This was the first tree we planted in our garden, and it was a mighty 3ft high. Now it is huge and it has a nightly visit from the long eared owl.
I do love the transformation of Malaga Maria Zamrano station
This shot shows the reading room.
Started the wild flower garden last year. Bought the seeds in the UK and its come back again this year. Great way to attract the bees and butterflies.
The pergola in our garden. When we moved into our house we were surrounded by small grape vines. We decided to keep some of the vines, so we constructed a pergola and through the year it grew into a beautiful green tunnel. We have also incorporated fragrant climbing rose and passion flowers which add colour.
Our precious little Daisy. We had to feed her from day 1 as her mother Sally didn’t want to get involved with motherhood. It was an amazing experience seeing her been born and watching her grow into a young girl.
This is one of Tommy’s favourite spots in the garden.
Many years ago we built a hill at the far end of the garden. For a long time it was just a hill and then we decided to plant a mulberry tree which has now grown into a beautiful tree with the branches giving a canapy of cool shade and distant views across the vineyard, and hills beyond. So of course seating was needed and here it is, the round bench.
