Started the wild flower garden last year. Bought the seeds in the UK and its come back again this year. Great way to attract the bees and butterflies.
This is one of Tommy’s favourite spots in the garden.
Many years ago we built a hill at the far end of the garden. For a long time it was just a hill and then we decided to plant a mulberry tree which has now grown into a beautiful tree with the branches giving a canapy of cool shade and distant views across the vineyard, and hills beyond. So of course seating was needed and here it is, the round bench.
I don’t mind bulls being dressed up but putting them in a Bull Ring is horrible. Bull fighting in Spain must be stopped.
Once a year Torrox Costa celebrate the horse day, and this normally happens early summer. Horse owners around the district congregate and show off their horses and their best bulls.
I would love to spend a day with the Mollina herdsman. Each day I see him wandering in the vine groves outside the village of Mollina with his many goats, and sheep. Always by his side is his faithful Spanish Water Dog.
I took this picture when his was just about to cross the road beside our house, Cortijo Las Vinas.
I was lucky to live right beside the sea for 14 months over looking the Mediterranean in Torrox Costa.
I just loved waking up in the morning to see the sea and smell the sea air, and of course watch the ever changing scenery before me.
Here is just one of many ships and small boats that sailed by my window.
This picture was taken in Torrox Costa on Horse Day. These two beautiful Andalusia horses were cooling off in a derelict building near to the sea.
